Ezechiel 17:9

SV	Zeg: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Zal hij gedijen? Zal hij niet zijn wortelen uitrukken, en zijn vrucht afsnijden, dat hij droog worde? Hij zal aan al de bladeren van zijn gewas verdrogen; en dat niet door een groten arm, noch door veel volks, om dien van zijn wortelen weg te voeren.
WLC	אֱמֹ֗ר כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִ֖ה תִּצְלָ֑ח הֲלֹוא֩ אֶת־שָׁרָשֶׁ֨יהָ יְנַתֵּ֜ק וְאֶת־פִּרְיָ֣הּ ׀ יְקֹוסֵ֣ס וְיָבֵ֗שׁ כָּל־טַרְפֵּ֤י צִמְחָהּ֙ תִּיבָ֔שׁ וְלֹֽא־בִזְרֹ֤עַ גְּדֹולָה֙ וּבְעַם־רָ֔ב לְמַשְׂאֹ֥ות אֹותָ֖הּ מִשָּׁרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃
Trans.	’ĕmōr kōh ’āmar ’ăḏōnāy JHWH tiṣəlāḥ hălwō’ ’eṯ-šārāšeyhā yənatēq wə’eṯ-pirəyāh yəqwōsēs wəyāḇēš kāl-ṭarəpê ṣiməḥāh tîḇāš wəlō’-ḇizərō‘a gəḏwōlâ ûḇə‘am-rāḇ ləmaśə’wōṯ ’wōṯāh miššārāšeyhā:

AC	ט אמר כה אמר אדני יהוה--תצלח הלוא את שרשיה ינתק ואת פריה יקוסס ויבש כל טרפי צמחה תיבש ולא בזרע גדולה ובעם רב למשאות אותה משרשיה
ASV	Say thou, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it may wither; that all its fresh springing leaves may wither? and not by a strong arm or much people can it be raised from the roots thereof.
BE	Say, This is what the Lord has said: Will it do well? will he not have its roots pulled up and its branches cut off, so that all its young leaves may become dry and it may be pulled up by its roots?
Darby	Say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Shall it prosper? Shall he not pull up its roots, and cut off its fruit, that it may wither? All its fresh sprouting leaves shall wither, even without a great arm and many people to pluck it up by its roots.
ELB05	Sprich: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Wird er gedeihen? Wird man nicht seine Wurzeln ausreißen und seine Frucht abschneiden, so daß er verdorrt? Alle frischen Blätter seines Triebes werden verdorren; und nicht mit großem Arme und zahlreichem Volke wird es möglich sein, ihn von seinen Wurzeln emporzuheben.
LSG	Dis: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Prospérera-t-elle? Le premier aigle n'arrachera-t-il pas ses racines, n'enlèvera-t-il pas son fruit, afin qu'elle se dessèche, afin que toutes les feuilles qu'elle a poussées se dessèchent? Et il ne faudra ni beaucoup de force ni un peuple nombreux pour la séparer de ses racines.
Sch	Sage: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Wird er geraten? Wird jener nicht seine Wurzeln ausreißen, daß seine Frucht verfault und verdorrt? Alle seine grünen Schosse werden verdorren! Und es braucht dazu keinen großen Arm und nicht viel Volk, um ihn aus seinen Wurzeln herauszuheben.
